Jill found yoga in 1998 after four years in college and in desperate need of something more than just another exercise class. Yoga was the answer. She practiced at many different centers in Manhattan and knew that one day she would want to take her passion and share it with others. In 2002, Jill began her training with Yoga Fit but couldn't find the right fit. Then in 2008 she decided to further pursue her education and enrolled with Charles and Lisa Matkin of Matkin Yoga, where she received her 200-hr certification. One of the greatest joys Jill receives from teaching yoga is in seeing each student finish their practice with a sense of calm and ease. She encourages everyone to take that feeling of peace and keep it with them at all times.
Jill is also a Holistic Nutrition and Wellness Counselor and works with her clients on lifestyle changes for the body, mind and spirit. She counsels private clients here at The Yoga Sanctuary.
