A veteran of New York's public relations jungle, Emily found meaning and perspective in yoga's ability to quiet the mind and strengthen the body. Her teaching approach encompasses the precepts of sthira and sukha (effort and ease), encouraging her students to trust their own bodies and enjoy the practice. In addition to her 200-hour training at Bright Spirit Yoga in Hoboken, NJ, she earned certifications in prenatal and restorative yoga from Yoga Works and in children's yoga from Neney's Yoginis. Emily expresses gratitude to her teachers Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker Gastelu, and all those who have guided her journey.
